MCKENZIE MCKUSTOMS PRESENTS-REB BROWN AS CAPTAIN AMERICA
Hey Guys, I'm back again with another custom Mego! This time around it's Captain America, as portrayed by Reb Brown in the two TV movies Marvel produced in the 70's. Cap is movie authentic with transparent shield, and motorcycle helmet! The body is from Cast-a-way Toys, plain blue bodysuit by Doc Mego, with alterations by myself, gloves are also hand made with some funky shiny pleather i had lying around. Boots are Cast-a-Way painted red, and now for the fun stuff....Caps helmet is an Evil Knievel helmet I chopped up and painted blue. His head is a vintage Hutch head i molded a cowl onto and painted. The wings on the helmet are craft foam, with prismacolor detail work, and the visor is clear plastic i cut from a soda bottle. The shield is also from a plastic bottle cut to Mego scale and adorned with decals i picked up on the Mego Museum boards. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to making h is motorcycle :) Hope you Likey! ;)

MCKENZIE MCKUSTOMS PRESENTS-GOLDEN AGE GREEN HORNET!
Here is the first addition to my line of custom Mego action figures based on the stars of Golden Age movie serials. This particular Green Hornet is modeled after his celluloid counterpart from the Universal Serial, The Green Hornet Strikes Again. GA's mask is sculpted on to his face, and features a custom paint job including the Hornet insignia, a modified Mego Wizard Of Oz jacket, CTVT pants & shoes, re-painted Cast-A-Way Toys fedora, a handmade neck scarf, and GH is built on a vintage Mego body. GH's Gas Gun is hand-sculpted and painted by Little Ol' Me :) I also designed the blister card you see here sporting a Cast-A-Way Toys Clamshell. I've been sitting on this one for quite awhile, I hope you like Him :)

MCKENZIE MCKUSTOMS PRESENTS-SUPERGIRL
I had been wanting to produce a female Mego custom for quite some time now. I tried various Mego-like figures and nothing seemed to work to my specifications. As I often do when in a jam, I looked to the work of fellow Mego customizers I admire for inspiration. I found the solution to my problems in Mego's backyard. In Mego produced a fully articulated female action figure, Dinah-Mite. Dinah is cute, blond, and able to strike many a superheroic pose so, Bullseye! SG's entire outfit is modeled after late/great artist Michael Turner's version of The Maiden Of Might. handmade by myself, with the exception of the boots, which are modified Breyer Girl boots, and the Supergirl chest logo, courtesy of Doc Mego. I also banged out a custom card for SG, enclosed in Cast-A-Way Toy's Super Clamshell packaging. I hope ya' like Her :) I have a few more female Mego's planned, Stay tuned friends...

HEROES MEGOS

Hey Guys and Gals, I'm a big fan of the NBC show Heroes, so I decided to make some Mego like figures based on two of the shows main characters, Sylar, and Nathan Petrelli AKA Flying Man. The headsculpts on both figures are hand sculpted, and painted by Myself, the bodies are CTVT, the clothing on both figures are Mego repros that I custom tailored to meet my needs. The backing card art is also created by yours truly. Super Clamshell packaging courtesy of Cast-A-Way Toys. I plan on making more Heroes customs one of these days, right now my work bench is swamped. PHEW! Hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking!
