MCKENZIE MCKUSTOMS PRESENTS-SUPERGIRL
I had been wanting to produce a female Mego custom for quite some time now. I tried various Mego-like figures and nothing seemed to work to my specifications. As I often do when in a jam, I looked to the work of fellow Mego customizers I admire for inspiration. I found the solution to my problems in Mego's backyard. In Mego produced a fully articulated female action figure, Dinah-Mite. Dinah is cute, blond, and able to strike many a superheroic pose so, Bullseye! SG's entire outfit is modeled after late/great artist Michael Turner's version of The Maiden Of Might. handmade by myself, with the exception of the boots, which are modified Breyer Girl boots, and the Supergirl chest logo, courtesy of Doc Mego. I also banged out a custom card for SG, enclosed in Cast-A-Way Toy's Super Clamshell packaging. I hope ya' like Her :) I have a few more female Mego's planned, Stay tuned friends...

MCKENZIE MCKUSTOMS PRESENTS-THE OWL!
This is my custom Mego style action figure of Golden Age Comic great, The Owl! This is the second figure in My World's Greatest Golden Age Heroes line. Look for new additions to the line very soon, along with custom backer cards. Hope you like Him!
-Will
Here is a little background on The Owl I pulled up on Wikipedia for those of you unfamiliar with the character..
One of the few original characters to be published by Dell, The Owl first appeared in Crackajack Funnies #25 (July, 1940); Owl Girl debuted in issue #32 (February, 1941). After Crackajack ended, the duo appeared in Dell’s Popular Comics, from issue #72 (February, 1942) to #85 (March, 1943).
In the 1960s, Gold Key Comics revived The Owl and Owl Girl, inspired by the success of the Batman TV series. The two issues of Gold Key’s The Owl — in which the duo was shown in campy, self-parodying stories — came out in April, 1967, and April, 1968. In the 1970s, The Owl appeared in issue #22 of Gold Key’s The Occult Files of Doctor Spektor.
In 1999, The Owl appeared in issue #17 of the AC Comics title Men of Mystery Comics. Most recently, The Owl is one of many public domain characters to appear in Dynamite Entertainment’s 2008 miniseries Project Superpowers.

HEROES MEGOS
Hey Guys and Gals, I'm a big fan of the NBC show Heroes, so I decided to make some Mego like figures based on two of the shows main characters, Sylar, and Nathan Petrelli AKA Flying Man. The headsculpts on both figures are hand sculpted, and painted by Myself, the bodies are CTVT, the clothing on both figures are Mego repros that I custom tailored to meet my needs. The backing card art is also created by yours truly. Super Clamshell packaging courtesy of Cast-A-Way Toys. I plan on making more Heroes customs one of these days, right now my work bench is swamped. PHEW! Hope you enjoy, and thanks for looking!

MEGO MUSEUM CUSTOM OF THE WEEK-STRAIGHT ARROW
I woke up this morning, checked my E-Mail, then made my way over to one of my favorite online haunts, Megomuseum.com. As the name implies, Mego Museum is THE place to go for anything Mego. I'm a member of the forums at the museum, and I post my custom work there from time to tme just for the heck of it. Well, long story short, this morning I found out that one of my recent customs (Straight Arrow-Golden Age star of Radio and comic books) is featured as Megomuseum.com's Custom Of The Week! I'm super thrilled, and honored to be chosen. I have been admiring the work of the ultra talented customizers on the forum for years, hoping one day my custom work might be given the spotlight. It may not sound like a big deal to everyone out there, but to me, it's a personal achievement that I'm very proud of. Thank YOU guys, and keep up the great work at the Museum ! :)
