It's been a long time folks, but I'm back! Took a break from Mego customizing for a bit, but wheels have been turning while I was away and I have quite a few new projects planned starting with the first figure in My Renegade Cops line, Axel Foley! The iconic character made famous by Eddie Murphy in the Beverly Hills Cop films is one of my favorites so it was only natural that i made him figure number one in the planned series of five. Other planned figures include Harry Calahan (Dirty Harry), Popeye Doyle (The French Connection), Deke Dasilva (Nighthawks), and John McClane (Die Hard). Axel is built on a Type 2 Doc Mego body with a custom tailored CTVT Happy Days jacket, a CTVT Space 1999 head with hand sculpted accents and paints, and a custom card by yours truly. Hope you like Him, I had a blast making this one.

Hey Guys, I'm back again with another custom Mego! This time around it's Captain America, as portrayed by Reb Brown in the two TV movies Marvel produced in the 70's. Cap is movie authentic with transparent shield, and motorcycle helmet! The body is from Cast-a-way Toys, plain blue bodysuit by Doc Mego, with alterations by myself, gloves are also hand made with some funky shiny pleather i had lying around. Boots are Cast-a-Way painted red, and now for the fun stuff....Caps helmet is an Evil Knievel helmet I chopped up and painted blue. His head is a vintage Hutch head i molded a cowl onto and painted. The wings on the helmet are craft foam, with prismacolor detail work, and the visor is clear plastic i cut from a soda bottle. The shield is also from a plastic bottle cut to Mego scale and adorned with decals i picked up on the Mego Museum boards. Maybe one of these days I'll get around to making h is motorcycle :) Hope you Likey! ;)

Thats right folks, Straight from the 1978 TV movie based on Marvel Comics, Sorcerer Supreme, and starring Peter Hooten, comes McKenzie McKustoms latest labor of love, Doctor Strange! The good Doctor is constructed on a type 2 repr o body, featuring a cape from a Paco Wrestling figure, a CTVT bodysuit i modified to resemble the final costume Hooten wears in the film with a few exceptions...No Disco slacks!! Instead, I made the costume all one piece like his comic book costume. the costume is adorned with his Captain Marvel style chest logo, i made with a white clothing repair patch, gauntlets, and his belt with hand sculpted belt buckle i made using Apoxie Sculpt. the head is from a CTVT Space 1999 figure I thought resembled Hooten, i just gave him blue eyes and added the porn stache. There you have it guys! I hope you enjoy :)

Here is the sixth, and final (Woo-Hoo!!) addition to my World's Greatest Golden Age Heroes collection, Captain Midnight! Cap features a cowl and goggles sculpted onto a vintage Kirk head by yours truly, a Doc Mego bodysuit I modified, a belt made of electrical tape with and buckle made of an adhesive metallic paper i picked up at Michaels, CTVT boots, all featured on a Doc Mego body with painted hands, and a sesame seed bun . The chest emblem was modified a touch, but I'm really happy with the way it came out, props to Jim, AKA actjac01 over at the Mego Museum, for bringing my emblem to life on some high quality sticker paper. You rule Man Thanks for looking, I hope you enjoy!

PS-A pic of the entire World's Greatest Golden Age Heroes collection coming soon..... __________________
